SBR DAV Public School, Talwandi Bhai, celebrated its annual sports meet. The school playground came alive as students from play way to Class V participated in a variety of exciting events designed to promote fitness, discipline, and teamwork. The event began with the ‘shabad gayan’ by students. Then Oath ceremony was held. Principal Jaswinder Kaur warmly welcomed everyone and highlighted the importance of sports in shaping a child’s physical and mental growth. Chairman Amrit Lal Chhabra extended his blessings and appreciated the school’s efforts in providing a healthy, competitive environment for students. Students took part in a wide range of athletic events, including 100 m race, camel walk, 20 m race, frog race, make tower race, crab race, balance race, lemon-spoon race, shuttle run, 50 m race, chain race yoga, aerobics, and fun activities for younger children. The atmosphere was filled with cheers and excitement as participants displayed outstanding determination and team spirit. A major highlight of the event was the mass PT, rhythmic drills, gatka, lezim show, dumbbell show and colourful performances by tiny tots, which left the audience mesmerised. Winners were awarded medals and certificates, acknowledging their hard work and achievements.
