Namish Khanna, student of Class VI in the school, has become state chess champion of Under-11 category in the Punjab Chess Championship 2024. He got selected to represent the state at the National Under-11 Chess Championship 2024, which will be held at Hyderabad, Telengana. The tournament was organised by the Punjab State Chess Association at Ludhiana in which more than 70 players from various districts of Punjab participated. Total six rounds were played, out of which Namish scored five wins and one draw to clinch the first position.
