Holy Mary's School, Banur, recently hosted an Inter-House Chess Competition for students of classes III to V. In the girls' category, Gandhi House won first place, led by Sehajpreet Kaur, Harsirat Kaur and Gurnoor Kaur, who showcased exceptional strategic skills and teamwork. Nehru House secured second place, represented by Japman Kaur, Ravneet Kaur and Ramneet Kaur. Among the boys, Tagore House claimed first place, thanks to the commendable performance of Waris, Jasraj Singh and Shivansh. Gandhi House secured second place, led by Harshit Jain, Fatehveer Singh and Gurfateh Singh. Principal Dr Shiny Devassy congratulated the winners and appreciated the participants' hard work and dedication.
