The Emily Gosain Memorial Basketball Tournament (Boys) 2025-26 concluded at St Xavier's High School, Panchkula. The matches displayed exemplary performances by all teams. St. Joseph's, Chandigarh, won the first semi-final, while Holy Child School, Panchkula, won the second semi-final. St Joseph's lifted the winner's trophy. Principal George S Shear applauded the performance of all players.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
