St Xavier’s High School, Panchkula, organised the third edition of Andrew J Gosain Girls Basketball Tournament in the school basketball court. Various teams from the renowned schools of the Tricity participated in the prestigious tournament. The tournament commenced with the opening ceremony. Principal George S Shear declared the meet open. On the first day, Strawberry Fields High School, Chandigarh, beat St Xavier’s High School, Mohali by 39-41; Saupin’s School, Panchkula, beat New Angel Public School, Zirakpur by 8-14; KV, High Grounds, Chandigarh, beat YPS, Mohali, by 34-55; St Joseph’s, Chandigarh, beat Holy Child School, Panchkula, by 2-25; and St Soldier Divine Public, Panchkula, beat Strawberry Fields High School, Chandigarh, by 20-31.
