The school secured the first place in Desh Aur Hum 3.0 under the category of “Youth & Tax: Building a Happier Future” Reel-Making Competition, organised by the National Academy of Direct Taxes, Union Ministry of Finance. The event marked a significant achievement for the school, showcasing the power of creativity in driving social awareness. Stellar students of the school Pranat Verma (Class XII CFS) and Prisha Jain (Class XI CFS) secured the first position for their exceptional creativity. Special appreciation was also extended to Pragya (Class XII Mass Media) for her invaluable support in bringing the project to life. Their award-winning reel stood out among 1,530 participants nationwide, earning them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the new Indian Parliament, a truly inspiring experience that underscores the importance of civic engagement and responsibility. The event emphasised the importance of tax awareness among youth and the role of creative storytelling in fostering responsible citizenship. Principal Dr Anuja Kaushal lauded the students for their dedication and ingenuity in crafting a compelling narrative that resonated at the national level. The highlight of the event was the special honour of screening of the award-winning reel, which captivated the audience with its thought-provoking message on taxation and its impact on national development. This was followed by an interactive session where the winners shared their experiences, reflecting on their visit to Parliament and the inspiration they drew from witnessing the pillars of Indian democracy in action.
