In order to instil a sense of respect and national pride among students, and recognise the valour and sacrifices of those who protect the nation’s sovereignty, the students of Class VI visited the War Memorial in Chandigarh. The visit was a part of the 25th anniversary celebration of Kargil Vijay Diwas in the school. The students stood before the grand memorial in a moment of poignant reflection, as they read the names of the soldiers inscribed. Teachers briefed the students about life in the Army, offering valuable insights into the daily challenges and dedication required of servicemen and women. The visit concluded with a calming yoga session, allowing students to reflect on the lessons of the day and the true cost of freedom.
