The school celebrated Independence Day. The celebrations began with a series of special themed assemblies organised throughout the week that instilled a sense of national pride and unity among the students and staff. The main celebration day commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by Principal Gulshan Kaur, followed by the singing of the national anthem. The flag hoisting was followed by a parade, led by NCC cadets. Sundram House conducted a special assembly themed “Tribute to Freedom Fighters”. The assembly featured heartfelt speeches, soulful patriotic songs, and a dramatic portrayal of key moments from India’s fight for independence. The middle school presented a poignant assembly titled ‘Swadhinta - Jashn-E-Azaadi’, which depicted the story of India’s struggle for freedom from 1857 to 1947 through a series of powerful performances. The junior section set the tone with a vibrant assembly based on a colour theme, symbolising the unity in diversity of our nation. The students from classes I and II showcased their talents through music, dance, and yoga performances.
