The school celebrated World Book Day, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing a love for reading among students. The day began with teachers engaging students in their respective classes by discussing the significance of World Book Day and the timeless value of books in shaping young minds. Students of classes VI to VIII showcased their creativity by participating in a bookmark-making activity. This was followed by a school-wide reading session, where students immersed themselves in the joy of reading. NSS volunteers delved into books related to Bhavan’s heritage and philosophy. This not only fostered their love for reading but also deepened their understanding of the Bhavan’s value system. Principal Gulshan Kaur highlighted the importance of cultivating a strong reading habit and encouraged students to make books their “best friends”, emphasising that reading is a gateway to imagination, knowledge, and lifelong learning.
