The 556th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak was celebrated in Sri Dasmesh Public Senior Secondary School, Patiala, with devotion and reverence. The students created a spiritual and divine atmosphere by reciting ‘paath’ of Japji Sahib, poems and ‘shabads’ depicting the life and teachings of Guru Nanak. School committee president Kulbir Singh, secretary Jaswinder Kaur and other members of the committee were present. In the end, Principal Preet Mohinder Kaur Syal thanked the members and inspired the students to follow the teachings of Guru Nanak in their lives. Langar was served to all.
