St Mary’s School, Chandigarh, reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility by organising a blood donation camp in collaboration with the PGIMER and Smile Foundation. The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from staff members, parents, and volunteers who stepped forward to contribute to this life-saving initiative. With the support of a well-equipped medical team, the camp was conducted smoothly, ensuring safety, hygiene, and care for every donor. Each contribution made during the drive carried the power to save lives and brought the community together in a spirit of compassion and service. Chairman Rev Fr. Aji K Chacko, and Principal Neha Kashyap commended the noble efforts of all involved, stating that such endeavours not only support a vital cause but also inspire students to grow into empathetic and socially conscious individuals.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
