Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, Mohali, organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with Rotary Classic Chandigarh and the Blood Bank of Indus International Hospital. The main objective of the camp was to spread awareness about the importance of blood donation and encourage students and staff to participate in the life-saving cause. A total of 30 volunteers came forward to donate blood, showcasing their compassion, empathy, and strong sense of social responsibility. A dedicated team of medical professionals from Indus International Hospital was present to oversee the entire noble effort. To acknowledge their invaluable contribution, all participants and volunteers were presented with a certificate of appreciation, a token of gratitude, and refreshments, making them feel recognised and respected for their selfless service. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Praneet Sohhal said, “Blood donation is a noble service that teaches our students how to put compassion into action.
