Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bhadhur Shastri Jayanti were observed at the school. The programme began with the singing of Gandhiji’s bhajan, “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram”, recited by the school choir. A speech on Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri was given by a student of class VII and poem recitation was done by Class V students. The assembly concluded with a message to all students to strive to keep the spirit of being self-sufficient and self-dependent to let India rise. Junior classes did colouring in the worksheets to know about the Father of the Nation.
