World Cancer Day was observed at the school. Students were apprised of World Cancer Day — an international day to raise awareness on cancer, its prevention, detection and treatment. For this, various activities like teacher talk, flash cards, poster-making, slogan-writing and speeches, were organised for the students of classes I to VIII, which included maintaining a healthy lifestyle, avoiding exposure to know cancer-causing substances and taking medicines or vaccines that can prevent cancer from developing. Principal, Upasna Modgil remarked that the primary goal of the day is to significantly reduce illness and death caused by cancer. She added that cancer prevention is an action to lower the risk of getting cancer.
