The school announced a one-day ‘screen fasting’ — an initiative aimed at promoting health awareness and detecting potential health risks among students, parents and staff. Parents were requested to observe ‘screen fasting’ on the second saturday of every month. The aim is to encourage students to spend quality time with their families, away from artificial screen-based entertainment. All teachers of the school also pledged to observe screen fasting themselves and raise awareness about its benefits. Principal Upasna Modgil welcomed this initiative of implementing screen fasting in the school, stating that undoubtedly, screen fasting will help in nurturing the fundamental and spiritual values of society and family. It will also aid in reducing family disintegration, leading to the development of human, moral, and spiritual values in students.
