DAV School, Rehan, hosted a three-day capacity building programme for educators, focusing on the latest pedagogical skills and strategies. The event, led by Dr Rashmi Jamwal, ARO, DAV HP Zone-I, saw active participation from principals and teachers across zones. Distinguished educationists, including Principals from various DAV institutions, added value to the occasion. In her inaugural address, Dr Jamwal emphasised the importance of capacity building in today's educational landscape, highlighting its impact on teaching quality and professional growth. She noted that a well-equipped teacher is crucial to a successful school, stressing the need for continuous professional development. The programme aimed to foster learning, sharing and growth among educators, benefiting thousands of students.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
