A delightful musical "Mum-In-Charge" was presented during the school’s High School Annual Day held in the auditorium of Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, Chandigarh. The production was an adaptation of the play by JB Priestley and highlighted the value, humour, and indispensable role of mothers in family life. Dr. Renu Vig, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University, was the Chief Guest, while Dr. Yajvender Pal Verma Registrar, Panjab University, graced the event as Guest of Honour. The programme commenced with a felicitation ceremony anda prayer dance. The stage came alive with vibrant performances as young actors skillfully portrayed the wit and warmth of "Mum-In-Charge." Interspersed with lively dances by students of Classes VI to IX representing cultures from across the globe, the musical kept the audience thoroughly engaged. The programme concluded with the National Anthem and a heartfelt message — that mothers truly make a house a home and deserve to be cherished and appreciated every day.
