DAV Police Public School, Kaithal Road, Karnal, organised a two-day CBSE capacity building programme on English Core (Senior Secondary), under the aegis of the Centre of Excellence, Panchkula (CBSE). Principal Arun Verma extended a warm welcome to resource persons Rubi Dalal and Nisha Kumari. The two-day training aimed to enhance teachers’ pedagogical skills and classroom practices. The sessions focused on improving the four core language skills — Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing (LSRW) — through engaging and activity-based learning methods. Educators actively participated in role plays, writing tasks, and discussions that highlighted innovative ways to make English teaching more effective and enjoyable. On the second day, the focus shifted to assessment techniques, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and strategies to align classroom teaching with competency-based learning. The interactive sessions provided teachers with valuable insights into modern teaching methodologies. The programme concluded with a sense of inspiration and commitment among educators to foster an engaging and dynamic learning environment.
