Saupin’s School, Panchkula, hosted the ASISC Chess Competition on the school premises. Teams from the ICSE schools of the North Zone participated in the event. The students showcased their talent in various nail-biting preliminary and final rounds. Saupin’s School, Panchkula won the gold medal in the U-17 boys’ category. The gold medal in the U-17 girls’ category was bagged by Little Flower Convent School, Panchkula. The gold medal in the U-14 boys’ category was bagged by Holy Angel School, Rajpura and in the girls’ category, it was bagged by Tender Heart School, Chandigarh. Principal Rani Poddar administered the oath of sportsmanship to all participants.
