The Education Department has decided to re-open schools for classes III to V from February 24.

According to an order issued by the Directorate of Schools Education, the classes would be conducted in both the private and government schools for three hours from 10 am daily. The prior consent of the parents would be must for attending the classes.

However, the online classes would continue as before and students not attending physical classes would not be penalised in any way.

All standard operating procedures (SOPs) would have to be followed by all concerned, including teacher and students.
