Students of classes VIII and IX took charge of the festivities, setting up a string of tempting stalls that showcased local flavours and modern treats. The menu featured Himachali Dham, siddu, sandwiches, bhel puri, popcorn, water balls, sprouts and fresh lemonade. Creative skill zones offered mehendi and nail art stations, giving every child a chance to showcase their artistic flair. The younger and senior sections weren’t left out – a series of races, sack races, tug of war etc. kept the playground buzzing with excitement. Principal Surjeet Kumar Rana praised the effort, saying, “It’s heartening to see our students taking the lead and making this day memorable for everyone. The enthusiasm of both teachers and pupils has made this celebration truly grand.”
