“Bhajan Prabhat Bhajanotsav” was organised by the management, staff members and students of the school under the aegis of the Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Upsabha as a divine amalgamation of values of the Arya Samaj to commemorate Swami Shradhanand’s Balidaan Diwas. Principal Anuja Sharma, teachers and students of the school rejuvenated with the blessings of the Arya Samaj resolved to create and evolve religious and pious ambience. The students mesmerised all present with their melodious echoes of chants of Vedic Mantras, spreading happiness and contentment. The idea behind these celebrations has its strong foundation in age-old traditions and values as laid down by the Arya Samaj acknowledging and appreciating the contribution of the Swami for the uplift of education. About 200 students from classes I to XII participated in the chanting of bhajans. An online essay writing competition was organised in which students from DAV and non- DAV schools participated with lots of enthusiasm and the prizes were awarded to deserving candidates. These essays were compiled in the form of a book named Bal Nibandh Sangraha by Prof Dr Vikram Viveki.
