A one-day Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on “Value Education” was organised at the school under the guidance of the CBSE Centre of Excellence, Panchkula. The workshop aimed to equip teachers with strategies to integrate moral and ethical values into everyday classroom teaching. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Principal Arun Verma, with Dr Abhilasha Kadyan and Reetu Malhotra serving as resource persons. The day began with the registration and an ice-breaking session, where teachers reflected on their personal beliefs and values. Engaging activities such as “The values to reckon” and “Why values education?” provided valuable insights into the role of moral education in shaping young minds. Participants also took part in practical exercises that demonstrated how values can be meaningfully integrated into various subjects. Principal Arun Verma highlighted that value-based education is the cornerstone of building responsible and empathetic citizens. He expressed his gratitude to CBSE for organising such initiatives that enhance teachers’ professional growth. The session concluded with a feedback and open-house discussion, during which participants described the workshop as thought-provoking, enriching, and deeply inspiring.
