The school organised annual function (KG and primary wing) for the session 2024-25 on its premises. Netra Meti, SDM, Palampur, was the chief guest of the function. The programme commenced with the welcome of the chief guest by the principal and lighting of the lamp. The function started with ‘Saraswati vandana’. More than 700 students of the primary wing participated in the event. They were dressed in colourful costumes and performed various cultural programmes like garba, Bollywood, Haryanvi, Punjabi and Rajasthani dances and patriotic songs and won everyone’s heart. The parents thoroughly enjoyed the programme. Principal VK Yadav thanked the chief guest, dignitaries and all the guests for gracing the occasion.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
