DAV Public School, Patiala, launched the RIDS Programme for the 2025-26 academic session with enthusiasm. The event began with a ceremonial balloon release, symbolising good wishes. The “Happy Earth” project was presented, focusing on 3Rs — Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle — and proper waste segregation. Sixty students from classes III and V participated in the presentation, while 220 Class IV students observed as an audience. The project also involved researching waste management practices in countries like the USA, Canada, Australia and India, allowing students to learn global best practices and draw comparisons.
