The school paid homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary. Principal Vivek Tiwari encouraged everyone to follow the impeccable organisational skills and leadership qualities of the brave soldier whose name is etched into the heart and minds of every Indian. He said, “Subhas Chandra Bose’s patriotic spirit continues to inspire generations of Indians across the length and breadth of our motherland.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
