A 10-day Annual Training Camp-189, organised by the NCC Air Wing at GSSS, Panarasa, culminated. The camp started on June 23 and had a wide variety of programmes aimed at inculcating social values among the NCC cadets. Classes on self-defence techniques, first-aid application, fire and rescue, awareness against drugs, sessions on aeromodelling, weapon training, drill and survival techniques were held. Group Captain SK Sharama visited the camp, which was attended by 450 cadets from different colleges and schools. DAV, Manali, cadets won ‘Best in Sports’ Trophy. RS Rana, Principal of DAV, Manali, congratulated all the cadets, teacher in charges and the faculty for the successful completion of the ATC -189 and praised the winners. Rana urged all students to work for excellence in their endeavours and come out with flying colours.
