Students of Class VII of the school secured prominent positions in the Inter-School Puppet Show Competition, held in the school’s auditorium. The primary objective of the competition was to promote the traditional art of storytelling, aimed at instilling moral values in children. Participants used vibrant and creative puppets made from paper and cloth to narrate traditional value-based stories. These stories, rich in folklore, included tales like ‘Vikram and Betal’, ‘Akbar and Birbal’, stories from the Panchatantra, and episodes from the Ramayana. Through skilful manoeuvre, the participants brought the inanimate puppets to life, choreographing them to dance and act, creating an enthralling experience for the audience of all ages. Two out of the three participating groups from DC Montessori School earned second and third positions in the competition. Principal Vishali Kaushal congratulated the winners and commended the efforts of all participants.
