Baisakhi was celebrated by students in the school. The objective of the celebrations was to apprise the children of the rich culture and heritage of India. The celebration commenced with a special morning assembly by senior students. Students sang the school prayer, which was followed by short speeches by students on the importance of Baisakhi highlighting its significance as a day of gratitude to the divine and to nature for a prosperous harvest. A captivating dance performance by done by students of Class X. Students in kindergarten dressed up themselves in colourful Punjabi attire. They not only participated in interesting and engaging activities but also expressed their elation by dancing on bhangra and folk songs. Students also enjoyed traditional food together in the school that added to the festive vibe. The celebration culminated with an applause of the creative work of the kids by Principal Vishali Kaushal. She conveyed her wishes to the children on the occasion and further highlighted the importance of respecting and valuing folk culture and tradition.
