The school organised a special celebration to honour the love, care and dedication of mothers. The event, attended by students and teachers, was a heartfelt tribute to the invaluable role that mothers play in our lives. Students showcased their talents through songs, dances and poem recitation and celebrated the special bond between mothers and children. Students also expressed their gratitude through cards and personal messages and touched the hearts of their mothers. Mothers were felicitated and presented with tokens of appreciation for their unwavering support and love. Engaging activities like flower crown making and photo frame craft added a creative and festive touch ensuring the event was both meaningful and enjoyable for everyone.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
