The school organised a motivational leadership talk for students of Grades VI to VIII, featuring Prof PVM Rao, Dean Coordinator of the Design Innovation Centre, IIT, Delhi. The session aimed to spark creativity and foster a culture of innovation among young learners. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 150 students who were captivated by Prof Rao’s thought-provoking insights. He emphasised the significance of understanding problems thoroughly before seeking solutions, highlighting how necessity serves as the foundation of innovation. Prof Rao encouraged students to embrace challenges as opportunities and to develop a problem-solving mind-set. Through engaging real-life examples, Prof Rao delved into the ideation process, illustrating the importance of brainstorming multiple solutions for a single problem. His powerful mantra “Don’t complain, innovate” left a lasting impression on the students, inspiring them to think creatively and approach the world’s challenges with confidence and determination.
