To prepare students for natural disasters, especially earthquakes, a disaster management drill on the theme “Drop, Hold, and Cover” was conducted at Maharishi Dayanand Adarsh Vidyalaya, Chandigarh. The drill began with the sounding of the alarm bell. At once, students and teachers practiced the three-step safety action. Teachers guided the students in each classroom, ensuring proper safety positions. The drill helped students understand that practicing such safety measures can save lives during real disasters.
