The school organised an inter-school English poetry recitation competition. The event featured three categories. Category I included participants from Class I, focusing on the themes of humour and nature. Category II comprised participants from classes II and III, centred on the theme ‘My World of Imagination’. Category III involved participants from classes IV and V, with the theme ‘Emotions’. A total of 22 schools from across the Tricity participated, with 65 students showcasing their poetic talents. In Category I, Shayra Thakur from Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, claimed the first position. Tiya Panag from Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, achieved the second position and the third position was bagged by Aarvi Dharni from Doon International School, Mohali. In Category II, Sihana Singh from Strawberry Fields High School, Chandigarh, claimed the first position. Anaiah Deedwania from Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, achieved the second position and the third position was bagged by Niyamat Kaur Mann from Yadavindra Public School, Mohali. In Category III, Aamaira Garg from Doon International School, New Chandigarh, claimed the first position. Japita Rekhi from Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, achieved the second position and the third position was bagged by Rayyzel Badoug from St Joseph Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh.

Director Smrita Mann, and Principal Ira Bogra praised the participants for their creativity and eloquence, highlighting the significance of such competitions in fostering a love for literature and self-expression.
