Doon Public School, Panchkula, celebrated a significant milestone with the grand opening ceremony of its new auditorium, "Swanand". The event began with Deep Prajwalan and Deep Stuti, followed by introductions of the chief guest, Sachin Gupta, IAS Administrator, HSVP, Panchkula, Haryana, and guests of honour, Shekhar Chandra, CBSE Regional Officer, Haryana & Himachal Pradesh, and Sandhya Chikkara, District Education Officer, Panchkula, Haryana. The attendees were treated to a captivating presentation on the "Journey of Doon" and a vibrant Krishan Leela performance. Outstanding participants were felicitated before the guests of honour delivered inspiring addresses. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, marking the school's commitment to excellence and tradition.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
