The school was privileged to host DSP Traffic, Karnail Singh, for an inspiring and thought-provoking session that left an indelible impact on the young minds present. Singh, a former gold medallist wrestler, shared his journey of transformation — from the world of sports to the demanding field of civil services. He emphasised the role of fitness, balanced diet, mental strength and a relentless spirit of hard work and dedication. Addressing the students, he encouraged them to set high goals, stay grounded in values and work hard to make their country proud. His words ignited a deep sense of responsibility, reminding each listener that true success lies in serving the nation with integrity.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
