Martyrs Day was observed on the school premises. Students participated in various activities inspired by the life and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. The event began with a special assembly, where students delivered speech and recited poems highlighting Gandhi’s principles of non-violence, truth, and compassion. A quiz competition was organised of classes IV and V for testing the knowledge of students about Gandhi’s life and contributions. Students of classes I, II and III showcased their creativity through poster-making, essay-writing, and slogan-writing competitions. The themes revolved around Gandhi’s teachings such as ‘swachhata’, sustainability and social harmony. A two-minute silence was observed in the memory of the Father of the Nation, and other martyrs. Chairperson JK Gupta and Director Seema Handa encouraged students to adopt Gandhi’s values and incorporate them into their daily lives. The event concluded with a pledge by students to spread love, kindness and compassion, upholding the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. Administrator Dimple Malhotra and Principal Komal Arora inspired students to become responsible, empathetic, and socially conscious citizens.
