The school celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Dasehra. The programme began with an inspiring speech that unveiled fascinating insights from students, who passionately highlighted the enduring values and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, emphasising his pivotal role in India’s monumental freedom struggle. As the Dasehra festivities unfolded, students captivated the audience with a thought-provoking poem that beautifully illustrated the timeless battle of good versus evil. A special theatrical performance vividly brought to life the epic tale of Lord Rama and Ravana, powerfully conveying the themes of truth, courage, and righteousness. The event concluded with a heartfelt message, reminding everyone that truth and goodness always win over falsehood and evil.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
