Fortis, Mohali, hosts ‘PSYCH-ED 2025’ zonal finals

Psych-ED, the national-level annual psychology quiz for schoolchildren organised by Fortis Healthcare, saw the participation of more than 900 schools in its 8th edition. As the online round of Psych-ED went live, more than 12,000 participants from over 190 cities across India participated in the quiz simultaneously. The quiz was designed for classes XI and XII, aiming to test their knowledge of psychology and its concepts. PsychED 2025 was supported by GD Goenka University, Project CACA, Rupa publications and Adayu, a Fortis group company. Over the years, Psych-ED has grown into a flagship national-level event, engaging schools from urban metros, small towns and overseas creating an inclusive platform for learning and discussion. The quiz was conceptualised and executed under the aegis of Dr Samir Parikh, Chairperson, Fortis National Mental Health Programme, Fortis Healthcare Limited. The objective of the quiz is to impart learning while ensuring that the discipline remains engaging and fun for the students. Speaking on this unique initiative, Parikh, said, "Our initiative is driven by a larger purpose — to promote awareness, reduce stigma around mental health and inspire curiosity about psychology among school students. The quiz serves as an engaging and enjoyable way to learn, blending education with fun.” The winning team from Bal Bharti School, Ludhiana comprising of Anaisha Sharma, Prabhdeep Kaur and Tanya Singla said, “We are so excited to be going to Delhi! We’d like to thank our Psychology teacher the most- we were quite nervous, but she believed in us and helped us prepare. Let’s get PSYCH-ED!”
