The Arya Yuva Samaj of Hansraj Public School, Panchkula, concluded the four-day Vedic Prach Saptah held on the occasion of Shravani Upakarma. The event commenced on the school premises adorned with the ‘OM’ flag and Vedic hymns, with a Dev Yajna Havan. Each day, the programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the school fraternity, parents, local Arya Samaj members, and representatives from various branches of Arya Samaj, Panchkula. The keynote speaker of the festival, Acharya Virendra Shastri, in his enlightening addresses, highlighted the glory of the Sanskrit language, the Vedic essence of the Gayatri Mantra, the significance of an ideal daily routine, environmental conservation, and the importance of diet, sleep, and celibacy for a blissful life.
