St Anne's Convent School, Chandigarh, celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great reverence, marking the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. A special assembly was conducted to reflect on Gandhian values such as non-violence, truth, simplicity and peace. The students participated in Shramdan within the school campus, contributing to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and aligning with Gandhi ji's emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene. A film on the life of Mahatma Gandhi was screened for senior wing students in the school auditorium. Principal Sr Siji addressed the students, inspiring them to adopt the values and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi in their lives. The celebration served as a reminder of the importance of Gandhian principles in today's world.
