Ganpati Convent Smart School, Sadhaura

The school organised a quiz on mathematics on the occasion of Srinivas Ramanuja’s birthday (week). All students from classes III to VIII participated in the quiz. Its main objective was to aid in the intellectual development and reasoning ability of children in mathematics, which included topics like number system, shapes, decimals and fractions, ratio and proportion, percentage, average, etc. All children performed brilliantly. In the competition from class III to V, students of Yajur House got the first place, students of Atharva and Rig House got the second place, students of Sama House got the third place, while in the competition from classes VI to VIII, students of Rig House got the first place, Yajur House got second place and students of Sama House got the third place. Headmistress Pooja Trikha gave information to the children about mathematics experts so that the children develop an interest in mathematics. The winners were awarded prizes.
