The school has once again proven its academic excellence with the remarkable performance of Class X and XII students in the CBSE board examination. The school boasts of 100 per cent result. Shreyansh Tiwari secured 98.6%, followed by Khushpreet Kaur with 96.4% and Shivam Sachdeva with 96.2% in Class X. In Class XII, Simranpreet Kaur (93%) turned to be topper in science stream, followed by Kiranjot Kaur (90%). In the commerce stream, Amanjeet Kaur secured 94.8% and Rijual Kanwar secured 93.8%. Vishwajeet Singh with 93.8% emerged as the top scorer in the humanities stream. Chairman Sant Baba Lakhbir Singh and Director Jaswant Singh congratulated the students on their meritorious performance. Principal Ritu Oberoi wished them good luck for the future.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
