The school hosted a CBSE capacity building workshop on ‘Art Integration’, providing educators with innovative strategies to incorporate art into education. The workshop, which began in morning, featured resource persons Anuja Sharma, Principal of DAV Model School, Sector 15-A, Chandigarh, and Hema Punjab, PGT at DAV Model School. Their sessions offered valuable insights into fostering creativity and holistic learning. Participants engaged in interactive activities, such as “What If? Scenarios”, “Story Weaving”, “Untold Melodies”, and poetry forms like Cinquain and Haiku, enhancing their understanding of art-integrated teaching. Teachers received specialised training on improving learning outcomes and educational methodologies. Through various activities and discussions, teachers gained insights into innovative teaching strategies and their practical applications to enhance classroom effectiveness. The event commenced with a warm welcome by Principal Gian Jot emphasising the significance of creative learning. The workshop concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the resource persons, CBSE, and enthusiastic participants for their contributions.
