Celebrating the Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev, students of the school undertook a heartfelt service initiative by distributing tubelights and bulbs to underprivileged families in their community. The gesture aimed to spread light and hope, resonating with Guru Nanak Dev’s teachings on compassion, kindness, and service to humanity. Through this meaningful act, the students embodied the spirit of selfless service, creating a positive impact in their community. The initiative not only provided essential items to those in need but also served as an educational experience for the students, encouraging them to carry forward the values of generosity and empathy. Principal Gian Jyot expressed pride in their students’ actions, reinforcing the importance of social responsibility and community service.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
