Students celebrated Teacher’s Day to make their teachers feel special on the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Students presented their teachers cards, flowers and gifts to express their gratitude on the occasion. JS Bedi, Chairman, GJ-IMT, was the chief guest. Bedi lit the lamp and stressed on the importance of the role of teachers in making the society. Students cut a cake. A cultural programme was organised for teachers. Students organised a ramp show and various games. The teachers enjoyed various cultural activities presented by students. Teachers showcased their talent in the different fields. Bhangra and ‘antakshri’ were the main attractions of the cultural events. Outstanding teachers and members of the non-teaching staff were honoured on the occasion by Principal Gian Jot.
