Govt Model High School, Sector 54, Chandigarh, participated in the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025, an initiative of the Ministry of Education in collaboration with NITI Aayog and the Atal Innovation Mission, under the guidance of the Education Department, Chandigarh Administration. Ten student teams registered on the national portal and, mentored by science and mathematics teachers, developed innovative ideas and prototypes based on the themes of Aatmnirbhar Bharat, Aadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samridh Bharat. Students also joined the national live-streaming event and interacted virtually with young innovators from across the country. Nodal teacher Prem Chand said, “The Buildathon inspired students to think critically and design practical solutions for real-world challenges.” Headmistress Kuldeep Kaur said, “The initiative reflects the vision of NEP 2020 by fostering creativity, collaboration, and experiential learning.”
