Pre-primary classes organised ‘Bal Mela’ on the school premises under the guidance and supervision of school in-charge Tarun Chabra. Preeti Bansal, CRC, was the special guest. Parents of pre-primary students also visited Bal Mela with their little kids and enjoyed it a lots. Pics of all classroom activities done in the present year were displayed on the display board. A selfie stand (Bachho ki foolwari) was made by teachers for the tiny tots. The centre of attraction of the Bal Mela was ‘Jaadui Pitara’ and ‘Bioscope’. A variety of Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) were also presented in Bal Mela. A village scene was created in a corner. School Head Tarun Chhabra appreciated the teachers. Students enjoyed Bal Mela.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
