The school organised a colourful and joyful ‘Baal Utsav’ on itsl campus. The programme started with the choreography on religious song. Dr Sukhraj Kaur, Principal of Lilly Swords Mehodist College of Education, Batala, inaugurated the Utsav. The special attraction was baby show activities, which included baby ball playing, and baby dance show. Rehan and Samridhi were crowned as ‘Baby Prince’ and ‘Baby Princess’, respectively. The fascinating events of the show were fancy dress, folk song, solo dance and role-play competitions. The star winners were Manreet Kaur, Hargunpreet Kaur and Gurjot Singh in fancy dress. In folk song, Prabhnoor Kaur, Sunpreet Kaur and Rohan were declared first, second and third, respectively. In solo dance Saraddeep Kaur, Sumeet Kaur and Khushpreet stood first, second and third, respectively. The special attractions of the festival were variety of joy rides and stalls of eatables. Amarjit Singh Purewal, District Resource Co-ordinator, Gurdaspur, was the chief guest. He distributed prizes to the winners. Dr Navreet Kaur, Medical Officer, Amritsar, was the special guest. Chairman Gurdial Singh and Principal Amandeep Singh also graced the occasion.
