The Eco Club of Goodwill International School, Dhadiala Natt, Gurdaspur, organised an informative assembly to celebrate eco-friendly Diwali. Inter-house competitions like greeting card making, diya decoration, painting, poetry and short story writing were conducted for Nursery, Primary and Secondary sections. Arshpreet Kaur recited a poem on Green Diwali and Dipawalideep Kaur presented a story on the theme. Eco Club president Seerat administered pledge on eco-friendly Diwali. Chairman Gurdial Singh presided over the programme and stressed the need to inculcate good habits and to enlighten mind with positive thoughts and good behaviour. Director Principal Jasbinder Kaur honoured the winners with certificates. Harpreet Singh, programme co-ordinator, and Akashpreet Singh, patron Eco Club, organised the programme.
