A student of Class XI (Science) of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, Gopesh Verma, won gold medal at the 20th Asian Roller Hockey Championship held in South Korea from July 25 to July 28, 2025. Representing Team India on the prestigious platform, Gopesh Verma stood out for his exceptional performance, agility, and sportsmanship. He is among the select few young athletes from Haryana who have had the honour of donning the national jersey in roller hockey. Principal Gulshan Kaur congratulated Gopesh Verma on the momentous achievement and lauded the efforts of his coach and mentor Satyawan Soni for his guidance and unwavering support.
